Police operatives arrested six (6) drug suspects from Quezon City Police District (QCPD) during a Buy-bust Operation along the Manansala St., Brgy. Kruz na Ligas, Quezon City, at about 3:30 am on May 30, 2021.
Apprehending officers who took the action of the operation identified the 6 drug suspects, containing three (3) male and three (3) female, namely Mark Anthony Cabrillas y Cutanda aka "HAPON," Franklin Sumaway y Sumaway aka "KOGKOG," Jenny Manliguez y Fontejon aka "POTPOT," Mary Rose Borja y Zalvidar aka "KATE," Kyle Dela Cruz y Viola aka "STAN," and Emereen Bueno y San Diego aka "EMZ," who were arrested right in the act by the DEU Personnel of the station whose conduction of their buy-bust resulted in the arrest of the mentioned suspects and recovered/seized pieces of evidence.
Citing the report of the Project 4 Police Station 8, QCPD, police personnel stated that the recovered shreds of evidence from the suspects were (a) Nine (9) pieces of a heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing an undetermined quantity of white crystalline substances suspected to know as SHABU, (b) One (1) piece of genuine Five Hundred peso bill (Php 500.00) used as buy-bust marked money, (c) Six (6) pieces of genuine One Hundred peso bills (Php 600.00) as recovered money, and (d) Five (5) pieces of cellular phones.
Later on, the QCPD confirmed that the seized crystalline substance suspected of shabu weighing more or less one (1) gram with DDB value amounted to Php 13,600 alone.
Arrested suspects are now under the custody of QCPD with criminal charges for violating Section 5 and 11 Under Article II of RA 9165 with SACLEO pressed against the six (6) drug suspects with now such violations, markings, and inventory are currently under process.
